Lucy and Tiny on lead.I was the second Canadian to win the race.Peter Norberg was the first.A week before this race i won the 25(silver anniversary)of the Canadian Open in Ft Nelson,a mnth after this race i won the 50th running at Anchorage Fur Fondy.This was the team that put Streeper Bros on the map.

I remember it as the 'very' first time i ran 3 days(or even 2 till then) without stopping.Stopping was common place as i was always'pushing' for more from the dogs and myself,and in doing so stuff happens.70 fast smooth miles with no stops truely felt great at the time.The last time i raced this race was 11 yrs ago,i look forward to trying again.
